Start That Thing is committed to your satisfaction! We want you to have a great experience with your order. To ensure everything runs smoothly, please review our terms and conditions before placing your order. They outline our policies and answer any questions you might have.
Start That Thing is hereby referred to as “STT”.

Turnaround and Timeframe Policy
​
The timeframes listed on STT products are a guideline and not guaranteed unless otherwise stated. For example, a product that’s labeled 2 to 4 days is an average or typical turnaround time for the initial delivery of that product—it may take more or less time. Revisions will also increase the overall time to complete the project. In addition, each day is a business day (not including weekends or holidays).
Revision Policy

We’re confident in our ability to make your project the best it can be the first time provided we have adequate content and direction to begin with. However, we provide up to 5 free revisions to your website provided that the design and concept remain the same. Revision turnaround time is 1-2 business days on average. If revisions to the project exceed 3, additional credits may be purchased.
Refund Policy
STT will issue a full refund if the customer requests a refund within 24 hours and STT has not started the design process. If the project has started the design process and it has been under 24 hours, STT may issue a full or partial refund at their discretion depending upon how much work has been completed. For instance, if the project has only just begun, STT may issue a full or partial refund. If STT has completed most or all of the design, a full refund may not be given.

STT’s refund policy will be nil if;

24 hours have passed since purchase and the design work is in progress.

The initial design has been delivered.

The creative brief is lacking in required information.

Reactivation Policy
We won't entertain or refund any orders if the customer is non-responsive for 45 Days. However, the customer can request to hold the project up to 90 days (if there is a personal issue, etc). If the customer is non-responsive for more than 45 Days without a special request and the customer then reappears, the customer must pay an additional fee $100 for re-initiating the project. This fee is subject to change without notice.
Content Creation Policy
STT utilizes stock imagery from 3rd party websites. The customer cannot legally resell any imagery or video assets. STT also uses AI to generate content where needed, such as when a customer doesn’t supply enough content initially through the Discovery Questionnaire.

Quality Assurance Policy
​
Our designers don't deviate from the specifications provided by you in the Discovery Questionnaire. However, when the Discovery Questionnaire is lacking information, we must sometimes fill in the blanks at our discretion. Therefore, it’s very important to fully complete the Discovery Questionnaire to ensure your product or website is as close as possible to your expectations.
N.D.A. & Reputation Management Policy
STT does not share customer information regarding their project or contact details with anyone. The customer's personal and project information is kept confidential at all points. All parties agree not to intentionally defame or otherwise disparage the other concerning matters arising after project completion. Each party agrees to refrain from (and STT shall take reasonable steps to cause its officers and directors to refrain from), either directly or indirectly, hereafter making any defamatory comments of any type or nature whatsoever to anyone about the customer(and in the case of the customer, its employees, officers, directors, agents, consultants, affiliates, investors or business partners).

Delivery Policy
After the initial purchase(s) have been made, correspondence will be made via email, including design revisions and deliveries.
We provide a design order reference number soon after the order is placed, so that the customer may track the status of that order and request revisions or ask any questions regarding their order. We deliver all orders via email.
Technical Support Policy
​
STT is primarily a design service provider. We will design and develop the services that the customer needs. On occasions, our packages and services purchased will include technical aspects to help the client with their products. STT will provide the client with the basic information regarding those services and the settings required to make those services work. STT will not be responsible for providing detailed training or installations of said services on the customer's end.

Hosting
By default, STT will provide hosting for the website(s) created. The customer will be responsible for the monthly hosting fee, subject to change without notice. If the customer would prefer to host a website themselves, STT will deliver the necessary files to the customer. Upon delivery, the transaction has been completed and STT will not be held responsible for any kind of server or hosting-related issues (or customer support).
Domain(s)
The customer is responsible for providing their own domain for any websites that are developed before the design work can begin. STT provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to obtain their own domain through GoDaddy. STT has partnered with GoDaddy because of their customer service and ease of use.
